Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Abilene, TX is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to join our team. The role focuses on donor screening, venipuncture, plasmapheresis setup, and ensuring donor safety during donation.

Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week with paid interactive training. A high school diploma and ability to stand for long periods are required; evenings, weekends, and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the full shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs occasionally.
• Glove use due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year in customer or patient-facing role helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter/exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
