Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a part-time phlebotomist to support plasma center operations in Abilene, TX. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor donors, and handle plasmapheresis equipment setup and maintenance while upholding high standards of customer service.

Shifts are 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, with evening/weekend availability. Paid, interactive training is provided to ensure readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays availability.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from a distance.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vital signs and enter data into DIS.
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and perform compensation via Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements.
