Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Billings, MT is hiring for a truly part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy role. Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on reliability and donor safety.

You will greet donors, screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs, use our Donor Information System, and coordinate donor compensation. This position offers flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks involve glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer- or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and satisfaction.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts/records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement approved changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
