BioLife Plasma Services in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Support Associate to join our donor center team. You will greet donors, screen and assist with donor checks, and maintain accurate records while following safety procedures.

The role fits a flexible schedule—4 to 6 hours per day, 3+ days per week—includes weekend and holiday shifts, and offers paid training and comprehensive benefits. Prior customer-facing experience is helpful, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs, occasional up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and hearing equipment from distance.
• 90% glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts; maintain records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvements and initiate changes to center processes per approved procedures.
• Support donors with a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
