BioLife is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist in Fairview Heights, IL. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor donors and manage reactions, and operate plasmapheresis equipment. Expect setup, data entry, and coordination with the donor floor, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs; occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception and hearing equipment from a distance.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens; glove use required for most tasks.
• 1+ years of customer or patient facing experience is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and dispose of waste properly.
• Record donor vitals and enter data into the DIS system.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate using Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements.
