BioLife in Springfield, MO is hiring for a part-time Plasma Donor Screener and Phlebotomist. This role involves donor screening, phlebotomy, donor charting, and supporting plasma center operations with a strong emphasis on customer service.

The position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a flexible 3+ days per week schedule and 4–6 hours per day. Training is paid and comprehensive benefits are offered within a fast-paced care environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Ability to walk or stand for the entire shift and perform donor screening and phlebotomy.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; glove use due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and help implement approved process changes.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
