The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) is seeking a Part-Time/PRN Physical Therapy Aide/Technician to support therapists in patient care in Arlington, VA. The role includes preparing treatment areas, assisting with modalities, front desk tasks, and ensuring clinic cleanliness and readiness.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, basic computer/EMR skills, CPR certification, and an interest in pursuing a healthcare career. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Undergraduate degree preferred (Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology).
• Experience with computers and electronic medical records.
• CPR Certification for Healthcare Professionals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Windows office technologies (Word, Excel).
• Read/write/speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical and Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants in patient treatment.
• Assist with setup and administration of modalities and exercise machines.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and disinfect surfaces.
• Handle front desk duties: phone, scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and communicate clinic information.
• Assist with variations in schedule to maximize patient care and volume.
• Participate in therapy team activities and clinic events.
• May work evenings and Saturdays based on clinic hours.
