Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist II for Kendall Park, NJ. Part-time, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays 7:00 AM–12:00 PM. Pay range $24.50–$26.25 per hour.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, data entry, and supporting lab operations in a fast-paced environment. The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work weekends or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties, including inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones and email.
• Read, understand and comply with policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions as required.
