Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a part-time shift in Summit, NJ, with schedule on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and rotation every other Saturday in PSC. Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus consideration.

The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data-entry skills, and flexibility to cover weekends/holidays. Part-time benefits are available per policy.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client information.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties like inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, and email use.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Complete trainings timely.
