Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Brick, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, perform biometric screenings, and handle patient interactions in a fast-paced lab setting. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends.

The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and reliability for weekend/holiday coverage. A high school diploma is required, with phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience with accuracy.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Navigate lab systems to research test orders and verify client information.
• Enter data accurately and manage billing information as required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transporting as needed.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones and emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses on time.
