Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, pediatric and geriatric collections included.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; valid in some locations.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and screenings.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Enter data accurately and navigate computer systems.
• Enter billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, transport).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and other records timely.
• Complete required trainings and certifications timely.
