Quest Diagnostics Inc is seeking a Phlebotomist II for part-time work in Springfield, NJ. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The role involves collecting specimens, processing samples, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, along with data entry skills.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data as required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, sanitizing, filing, calls and emails.
