Job summary

Summit Health in New Jersey is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to join our satellite lab team. You will draw blood cultures, handle specimen labeling, and ensure proper documentation for all collected samples.

The role requires competence in adult, pediatric, and infant phlebotomy, and familiarity with the LIS system. Schedule includes weekday evenings and a Saturday shift. Must be able to adapt to regional lab operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Competency in adult, pediatric and infant phlebotomy.
• Experience with blood culture collection and specimen labeling.

Responsibilities

• Draws blood cultures using aseptic technique.
• Prepares and processes specimens per SOP.
• Collects urine and stool specimens and 24-hr collection.
• Operates LIS and maintains accurate documentation.
