Job summary

Summit Health Management in Clifton, NJ is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist Float to support our NJ clinical lab offices. The role involves drawing blood, processing specimens, and ensuring proper labeling and transport to the main lab.

Flexibility to travel to satellite locations is required, with shifts Monday–Friday, early morning start, and occasional weekend coverage. A minimum of two years phlebotomy experience and HIPAA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification through NHA preferred.
• CLA Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use aseptic technique to draw blood.
• Process specimens for transport to main lab.
• Prepare collection containers with preservatives and label specimens correctly.
• Coordinate with satellite locations and couriers.
• Document lab results and callbacks in LIS.
• Travel to satellite locations as needed.
