Summit Health Management is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomy Technician to join our satellite lab network. The role requires performing blood collection with aseptic technique, labeling samples accurately, and supporting the main lab operations.

You will help ensure timely specimen transport and maintain clean, organized lab spaces across sites. This position emphasizes patient-centered care, attention to documentation, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification/licensure as applicable by state preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Draws blood cultures using aseptic technique.
• Prepares and labels specimens for transport to main lab.
• Operates LIS for logging tests and results.
• Monitors supplies in phlebotomy room and restocks as needed.
• Travels to satellite locations for specimen collection when required.
