Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener at our Ammon, ID center. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform donor screening and phlebotomy to support center operations.

You will answer phones, greet donors, and record donor vitals, with shifts 4–6 hours/day, 3+ days/week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Paid training and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs and occasional 50 lbs.
• Glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and returning donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System and prepare donor charts and compensation records.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements using approved procedures.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
