Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs.
• Glove wear required for many tasks due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ year in a customer- or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Work shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
