Advocate Health’s ACL Laboratories – Good Samaritan in Downers Grove is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to join the Support Services team. You will perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages, verify IDs, and ensure proper labeling and tracking of samples.

Expect 20 hours per week with schedule details including 8-hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays. Shifts start between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., with duties that may include data entry and customer service tasks.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures and safety.

Aufgaben

• Verifies patient identification prior to specimen collection.
• Performs venipuncture and specimen collection for various ages.
• Label specimens correctly and ensure proper tracking.
• Carry out limited testing under CLIA guidelines per policy.
• Answer calls and assist with inventory and billing related tasks.
• Process specimens for testing and ensure proper identification.
