Advocate Health is seeking a phlebotomy technician to join the 60000 IL ACL Laboratories - Administration: Lab Ambulatory Services team in Park Ridge. Start times vary 7:00am to 9:00am, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday coverage (7:00am–1:00pm) and no Sundays.

40 hours per week with pay range $19.80–$29.70 per hour. The role requires collecting specimens from newborns to adults, labeling accurately, and performing basic testing under CLIA guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Phlebotomy knowledge and experience in a laboratory setting.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications.
• Typing and keyboarding skills for data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good listening skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with patients and staff.

• Verify patient identification and collect specimens per protocol.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens across age groups.
• Label, track, and transport specimens; assist with library workflows as needed.
• Perform limited CLIA-based testing per policy and procedures.
• Enter results into the computer system and support quality control.
