Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time phlebotomist for the 3rd shift in Illinois, 20 hours per week, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, specimen collection, labeling, data entry, and assisting with inventory and billing.

Requires high school diploma and about 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred; benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy knowledge and experience required.
• Proficient computer skills and data entry.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and ensure safety according to protocol.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens from patients of all ages.
• Label specimens correctly and prepare for testing per policy.
• Enter results and manage basic quality checks in the LIS system.
• Support Billing and other duties as needed and respond to calls.
