Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist in Wisconsin (Greenfield). You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor donors, and operate plasmapheresis equipment. The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and includes a comprehensive training program.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and contribute to center operations and continuous improvement initiatives. This position emphasizes customer service and quality in a fast-paced environment at Takeda/BioLife.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for the full shift.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception.
• Experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and operate plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and dispose of waste.
• Record donor vitals and complete electronic donor questionnaire.
• Record other donor measures (hematocrit, protein, weight).
• Enter donor information into the DIS.
• Coordinate donors to the floor and compensate donors via Debit Card system.
• Support center management in process improvements (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen).
