Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist in Wisconsin, focusing on donor screening and phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. You will work in shifts of 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with paid training and a focus on reliability and patient service.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform blood collection, donor monitoring, and data entry while upholding quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• 1 or more years minimum experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within training.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vital signs and enter donor information in the DIS.
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using Debit Card.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen).
