Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist in Greenfield, WI. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, and support plasmapheresis operations with a focus on patient service and quality. Training provided and schedule tailored to life commitments.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs rarely, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Donor safety and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year experience in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at entry/exit of donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within training.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
