Job summary

Southeast Community Health Systems is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge for their Louisiana location. The role includes supervising pharmacists, technicians, clerks, and interns, ensuring compliance with federal/state laws and SCHS policies, and maintaining licenses and required documentation.

The PIC will oversee pharmacy operations, payroll budgeting, scheduling, and customer service, while driving sales and ensuring timely prescription processing and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from an accredited college/university.
• Current Louisiana Pharmacist D license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; prior PDX experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff pharmacists, technicians, clerks and interns.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, security, and compliance with laws and SCHS policies.
• Maintain licenses, certificates, and required paperwork.
• Manage payroll budgeting and staffing schedules; optimize store operations.
• Ensure timely prescription filling and high-quality customer service.
• Drive pharmacy sales while maintaining patient safety and wait times.
