Southeast Community Health Systems in Kentwood, LA, seeks a Part-time Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee pharmacy operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with laws, and deliver professional consultation to customers.

This role reports to the CMO and requires a Pharm.D. license in Louisiana, strong customer service, and proficiency with MS Office; prior PDX experience preferred. Join SCHS to maintain records, drive safe practices, and support daily workflows.

Qualifications

Successful completion of pharmacy program from regionally accredited college or university.
Current Pharm. D license in the State of Louisiana.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Prior PDX experience preferred.
Ability to manage a pharmacy including budgets and staff training per SCHS policies.

Responsabilités

Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, clerks and interns.
Oversee all pharmacy operations, security and safe work practices.
Ensure licenses, certificates and paperwork are up to date.
Collaborate with CMO and departments to ensure continuity of services.
Provide professional consultation and efficient customer service; minimize wait times.
Address customer and physician inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
Drive pharmacy sales through high-quality customer experiences.
Fill prescriptions in compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
