Southeast Community Health Systems seeks a Pharmacist-in-Charge to provide prescription products and professional consultation, supervising staff and interns, and ensuring compliance with federal/state laws and SCHS policies.

You will lead operations, manage budgets, recruit and train staff, maintain licenses, answer customer/physician inquiries, and drive pharmacy sales while minimizing wait times.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a pharmacy program from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Current Pharm.D license in the State of Louisiana.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Prior PDX experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a pharmacy, including budgets and staff training.
• Excellent customer service skills and English communication.

Responsabilités

• Manage and supervise pharmacy staff including staff pharmacists and technicians.
• Oversee operations within the pharmacy, including security and safety.
• Ensure all licenses, certificates, and paperwork are up to date.
• Accountability for actions and results of the pharmacy.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train pharmacy team members.
• Plan and control payroll budget; create weekly schedules.
• Respond to customer and physician questions about prescriptions.
• Drive pharmacy sales by delivering high-quality customer care.
• Manage medication and medical supply inventories.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisors.
