Job Title: Retail Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)

Location: Beauregard Health System / Ragley Clinic Pharmacy, 13806 Hwy 171, Longville, LA 70652

We’re seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team at Beauregard Health Center’s Ragley, LA Campus. The ideal candidate works well in a team environment, is detail‑oriented, and has strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling and professional consultation
• Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand
• Interprets physician medication orders
• Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties
• Utilizes pharmaceutical equipment, including automated dispensing machines, laminar flow hoods and compounding equipment
• Represents the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner
• Maintains customer confidentiality at all times
• Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
• Exercises sound judgment in decision‑making
• Interacts effectively with diverse individuals
• Maintains professionalism in all situations
• Uses time effectively and efficiently
• Takes calls from facility and returns to pharmacy as needed

Position Requirements

• Current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s)
