Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in our Retail locations in Michigan. The role focuses on patient care, prescription fulfillment, and opportunities to gain experience with immunizations and clinical services.

Applicants must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited program and actively pursuing intern/technician licensure. This part-time position will require flexibility to travel across the market as needed and to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and Technicians with patient care.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and assist with immunizations and other services under supervision.
• Receive telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when allowed by state law.
• Support inventory activities and assist leadership with coaching and training.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
