Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the retail pharmacy team. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help deliver safe and effective patient care, manage inventory, and support customer service while adhering to regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes teamwork, empathy, and growth within a part-time schedule. Immunization eligibility and MS Office proficiency are preferred, with training provided to meet state guidelines.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment/acceptance is required.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
• Ability to regularly attend including weekends; mobility and dexterity requirements; able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and quality in a Retail Pharmacy work environment.
• Assist in patient care programs and pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Handle customer service, inventory management, and workflow tasks.
• Collaborate with team to deliver compassionate patient care and health outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and training as required by the state.
