Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our CVS Health stores. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap to learn store operations, patient interactions, and safe dispensing.

You will assist with dispensing, immunizations under supervision, and support SOPs while delivering caring service. The role may require travel within the market to support stores as needed and build readiness for a

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.
• Ability to work weekends and maintain regular attendance.
• Prior pharmacy or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and empathy in patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow at each workstation.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision.
• Accept telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts; support store operations.
