Central Admixture Pharmacy, part of CAPS, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Homewood, AL. The role involves preparing compounded sterile products using aseptic technique under the Director of Pharmacy, with supervision of IV technicians and interns.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or bachelor's in pharmacy, has Alabama licensure, and at least one year of related experience. This is an onsite position with a Monday schedule and potential holidays/overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or PharmD required.
• 1+ years related experience required.
• Valid Pharmacist license in Alabama (AL).

Responsabilités

• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS SOPs.
• Supervises IV technicians, interns and other support personnel as needed.
• Ensures compliance with State Board of Pharmacy rules and CAPS procedures.
• Reviews orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing.
• Provides after hours On Call coverage as needed.
• Maintains inventory and assists in successful pharmacy operation.
