Qualifications

• Active State Pharmacy Technician license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile intravenous medications, including IV admixtures and antibiotics.
• Perform sterile compounding in accordance with USP <797> standards.
• Accurately calculate, measure, and compound medications using aseptic technique.
• Verify orders and compounding instructions prior to preparation.
• Dispense functions related to labeling and supplies, and manage inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding area.
• Complete routine cleaning and disinfection of compounding areas and equipment.
• Ensure labels and shipments have correct names/addresses and finalize dispenses.
• Represent the pharmacy professionally in interactions with patients and staff.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address issues promptly.
