Job summary

Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. (CAPS) in Georgia is seeking a Pharmacist to prepare compounded sterile products under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy.

You will assist in supervising IV technicians, interns, and other support personnel to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. The role requires a Pharmacist license in Georgia and at least 1 year of related experience; new PharmD grads are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or PharmD required.
• 1+ year related experience preferred.
• New PharmD grads encouraged to apply.
• Valid Georgia Pharmacist license.
• Schedule: 7on/7off (8:00am-6:30pm) Wednesday-Tuesday rotation; On Call responsibilities; Holidays/overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS SOPs.
• Assists in supervision of IV technicians, interns and other support personnel.
• Reviews orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing.
• Resolves order discrepancies and problems with customer pharmacy personnel.
• Participates in CAPS Continuous Quality Improvement Program and performs Quality Control functions as assigned.
• Maintains inventory and assists with equipment troubleshooting and supply orders.
• May supervise IV Technicians and interns; reviews work for accuracy while ensuring CAPSSOP compliance.
