Job summary

Hy-Vee in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a licensed Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy department. In this hourly, part-time role you will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the pharmacy team while adhering to OBRA '90 and state/federal regulations.

You will help with inventory, MTM, immunizations, and community outreach, building wellness programs and contributing to growth.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required.
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred; immunizations required.

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 regulations and all state and federal statutes and regulations.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory on an annual basis or as recommended.
• Assist with inventory control including ordering, stocking merchandise, checking invoices, and entering inventory information.
• Assist with reconciliation and balancing of third-party accounts and monthly inventory.
• Administer immunizations as certified.
• Maintain the confidentiality of customers' private medical information and prescription drug pricing in accordance with HIPAA.
