Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Registered Pharmacist in Keokuk, IA to dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the pharmacy team. You will help with inventory, third-party reconciliation, and community outreach while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with active license in good standing
• 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) experience preferred
• Immunization administration capability required
• High level of discretion handling confidential patient information

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients according to OBRA '90 and state/federal regulations
• Assist with inventory control, ordering, stocking, and invoicing
• Support pharmacy team and participate in education/training of staff
• Promote wellness programs and community outreach to grow pharmacy services
• Administer immunizations as certified and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and pricing
