Qualifications

• College degree and pharmacy licensure required; must maintain continuing education to keep license active.
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
• Ability to administer immunizations required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 regulations and state/federal laws.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory and annual counts.
• Assist with inventory control including ordering, stocking, invoicing, and data entry.
• Support the pharmacy team and participate in ongoing education and training.
• Visit schools, doctors' offices, and senior centers to market pharmacy services.
• Build growth and sales through counseling and wellness programs.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with all policies and regulations.
