This role, 10–15 hours per week, collaborates with the Associate Director of Program Operations and interacts with managers, staff, and the fiscal department to maintain accurate HR records and facilitate training and events.

Qualifications

• One year experience in People Operations / HR capacity
• Ability to hold confidential information and documentation
• Bilingual or trilingual (Cantonese, Mandarin, English) preferred
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple topics concurrently
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, record keeping, and staff transfers
• Develop recruitment plans with managers and manage interview processes
• Handle benefits, compliance, and payroll-related tasks with fiscal collaboration
• Provide HR guidance to staff and managers on policies and training
• Support and lead staff trainings and program events as needed
