Job summary

BakerRipley is seeking a People Analytics & BI Analyst for a temporary 12-week, part-time role (30 hours/week). The position is in-office at our Central Houston office and collaborates with HRIS, Total Rewards, Payroll, and other stakeholders to design, build, test, and maintain Power BI dashboards and related data solutions.

Responsibilities include writing SQL queries, data modeling, validation, and documenting data sources and refresh procedures to deliver actionable workforce insights.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI and Azure preferred.
• English language proficiency required.
• Advanced/Technical skills in programming languages (Python, Java, C#) and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries and develop Power Query transformations.
• Create data models and DAX calculations.
• Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Improve recurring reporting processes and document sources.
