Job summary

Paycom seeks a People Analytics & BI Analyst for a 12-week temporary, part-time engagement in Houston. The role focuses on developing and improving Power BI dashboards, reports, and data solutions to support HR decision-making.

You will work with HRIS, Total Rewards, Payroll, and stakeholders to gather reporting needs, consolidate data from multiple sources, and deliver accurate workforce insights. Strong SQL, Power BI and data modeling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2 years of relevant analytics/BI experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI and Azure certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries and develop Power Query transformations.
• Create data models and DAX calculations.
• Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Improve recurring reporting processes.
• Document data sources, calculations, and refresh procedures.
• Provide project updates to stakeholders.
• Transfer knowledge to HRIS team for long-term maintenance.
• Collaborate with HRIS, Total Rewards, Payroll and other stakeholders.
