Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is recruiting part-time, hourly Behavior Therapist Interns in the Manhattan area. The role focuses on providing direct ABA instruction under BCBA supervision, collaborating with a clinical team, and supporting families with strategies for home and community use.

This paid internship builds clinical experience with developmentally disabled children, includes access to workshops, team meetings, and ongoing training to advance professional skills.

Qualifications

• Provide direct ABA instruction as outlined by the BCBA.
• Must have passion for working with children and families.
• 1 year of supervised work with children is preferred.
• Undergrad enrollment in related field or ABA training completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to educational plan.
• Attend collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists.
• Communicate with families, provide debriefs and home strategies.
• Collect daily data and maintain program records weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per state and federal regulations.
