Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to work across Manhattan cases. You will provide direct ABA instruction under the BCBA plan and collaborate with a team of therapists to support children and families in home, clinic, and community settings.

The role requires 2+ years with special needs children or enrollment in psychology/health-related programs, and completion of Achieve Beyond training. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years working with special needs children ages 2–21 in supervised setting.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Complete Achieve Beyond 20-hour classroom training and pass competency exam.
• Self-motivated, team player, patient and professional.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the plan by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case.
• Communicate with families, provide debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per State and Federal regulations.
