Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to support children across the Bronx in home, community and clinic settings. You will provide direct ABA instruction per the educational plan outlined by the BCBA and collaborate with the team.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience with special needs children (ages 2–21) in supervised settings, or be enrolled in a relevant undergraduate/graduate program. ABA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children and families.
• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2–21 in a supervised setting.
• Current enrollment or completion of an undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• Experience using ABA is preferred.
• Completion of 20-hour classroom training provided by Achieve Beyond and passing the competency exam.
• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and patient with professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs and home/community strategies.
• Collect daily data and organize child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
