Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking entry-level Part-Time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate in our pawn stores. You will greet customers, process sales and loan transactions, and engage with a diverse range of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms where permitted.

The role offers hourly pay with commission; Earned Wage Access, employee discounts, and a FirstCash 401k program after six months are available. Weekend availability is often required.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage areas.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Work across multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop a rapport and provide financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per policies and regulations.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partners with staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training and other duties as needed.
• Other related duties, as assigned.
