Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking entry-level, part-time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. You will greet customers, process sales and loans, and engage with shoppers in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role emphasizes customer service, cash handling, and teamwork across the store floor. You will earn hourly wages with potential commission based on productivity.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers outside the building or in exterior storage areas.
• Minimum Age: 18.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling experience preferred; basic math skills required.
• Able to work at multiple locations and on a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborates with colleagues to deliver positive customer experiences.
• Completes assigned training and supports other duties as needed.
