Job summary

FirstCash Pawn is seeking entry‑level, part‑time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate in our Texas stores. Earn an hourly wage of $11.00 to $14.00 plus commission on transactions. Up to 8% commission could add about $2.09 per hour on top of base pay.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, walking, and other physical tasks.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean and well-stocked.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle all cash and negotiable items per policies.
• Assist customers with inquiries and resolution of issues.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers to ensure positive customer experience.
