Job summary

Cash America Pawn in the United States is seeking entry-level, part-time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The role offers an hourly wage of $13.00 to $15.00 plus commission on transactions, with the potential to earn up to 8% on transactions (which could add about $1.00 per hour).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to provide and recommend financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean and stocked; maintain merchandise displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Collaborate with staff to create a positive customer experience.
