Zusammenfassung

Wellstar Health System is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative (PSR) to support our rehab front desk. You will manage pre-registration, scheduling, and patient intake while delivering a friendly, efficient patient experience in a busy clinic.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in healthcare front-office roles, strong data-entry skills, and familiarity with EPIC/EMR systems. This position requires flexibility for a 24-hour/week schedule and on-site work in the clinic.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare front office experience recommended.
• Typing/data entry proficiency; familiarity with MS Office and insurance terminology.

Aufgaben

• Handle front office operations: pre-registration, registration, scheduling, and clerical support.
• Interview patients to collect demographic, financial, and insurance information for billing.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and compassionate patient interaction.
• Assist with collecting co-pays and verifying insurance benefits.
• Maintain EPIC/EMR data accuracy and support billing processes.
