Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition and behavior.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Interacts cheerfully with staff, patients, visitors and colleagues to provide compassionate care.
• Remains at the bedside unless relieved by a staff member and escalates concerns.
• Assists with ensuring patient safety and a clean, safe environment.
