Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Patient Services Specialist 1 to provide administrative support in a physician office or clinic. You will assist patients with check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and phone inquiries.

This role supports high-quality, patient-centered care and requires strong data entry and communication skills. The position offers on-site hours Monday through Friday with a 20-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Experience: Less than 1 year

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient check-in and check-out and scheduling
• Verify insurance information and enter changes into the system
• Answer phones and direct patient inquiries
• Post payments and maintain accurate patient data
• Support medical records duties as requested
• Provide courteous, professional service to patients and visitors
