Responsibilities

• Assists with patient duties, including relations, check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
• Assists with patient registration by collecting and verifying insurance information; enters changes into the system.
• Accepts payments for physician/clinic services; posts payments and records charges.
• Generates daily payment reports and reconciles cash drawer.
• Provides patient information and assists with inquiries and financial arrangements.
• Handles phone calls and directs visitors; answers routine inquiries.
• Ensures patient complaints are handled appropriately.
• Assists with medical records duties as requested.
